Kroger decided to expand its offerings online and allow third party sellers to sell items on the Kroger website. In checkout, we had to figure out how to show to the customer who their items were shipping from, shipping speed, and how multiple items were being shipped if they were from different sellers.

In mid-2020, Kroger partnered with a service that would allow us to show 3rd party sellers on our website and native applications. This opened up 50,000 more products that Kroger would be able to sell.
The focus for us in the Cart and Checkout space was how to showcase to the user multiple sellers and multiple different shipping methods, timelines, and prices.
